Supporting your journey towards emotional well-being

I’m Deborah Mochan, a person-centred counsellor based in Wallington, Surrey. At the heart of my work is you - I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you are free to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, relationship issues, mental health, or simply seeking greater self-understanding. I’m here to support your journey towards growth and emotional well-being. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you, in a space where your voice is valued and your experiences are respected.

As a qualified and experienced BACP-registered counsellor, I offer a compassionate, confidential, and non-judgmental space for individuals navigating life’s emotional challenges. From a person-centred approach, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic principles to create a flexible and personalised experience tailored to your unique needs. I have worked with management, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, bereavement, and the impact of domestic violence. I understand that life can sometimes feel overwhelming, confusing, or distressing, and I’m here to support you in making sense of those feelings. At the heart of my work is a commitment to providing a safe and confidential environment where you feel genuinely heard, accepted, and empowered to explore both what you want and what you need in your life. My counselling practice is informed not only by formal training but also by real-world experience, including work in private practice and within voluntary organisations supporting individuals affected by homelessness and those accessing affordable counselling services.
I hold a Level 5 FdSc in Person-Centred Counselling, awarded through a University of East Anglia-validated programme delivered by East Sussex College.

Enhanced DBS clearance.
Several years’ experience in both private practice and community setting.
